These frogs were found in a pond and wetland in Schenley Park in my city of Pittsburgh, P.A. I was not aware of this wetland until recently and was pleasantly surprised by the fact that these frogs have a vernal pool here in the park. This one jumped out of the water suddenly and landed right at my feet, what a great surprise!
